Product Description

The story behind these vintage bookends is they were manufactured by the Syracuse Ornamental Co. which was out of Syracuse, N.Y. by Adolph Holstein. He developed a brand new & awesome product from a material that looked & felt like wood but which was manufactured by mixing wood pulp & added flour & other materials to bind it all together. This mixture would of course strengthen the piece and then it would be poured into molds & made into decorative pieces which included these cool vintage bookends.
